Let’s Fix It follows Samm Marshall as he identifies community and individual projects and sets about creating the solutions to realize these projects. Each new project presents the host with the challenge of formulating a plan, raising some of the sponsors, gathering the resources, and actually making the project happen -- done against a deadline of a ticking clock.

The time limit aspect, combined with the often daunting obstacles to performing the tasks, set the stage for a dramatic countdown to the finish, where the project must be completed and the benefit presented to the needy person or community.
